Restoring Individual Artifacts

Hearst Castle contains 25,000 artifacts—and all of them take maintenance and eventually repair. Individuals or corporations who sponsor single projects receive special recognition and benefits. Patrons of the Hearst Castle Preservation Foundation who sponsor single projects may also receive a naming opportunity.

St. Hippolytus Restoration

Thousands of objects are in need of conservation or restoration.

This large 15th century Spanish polychrome and gilt statue of St. Hippolytus is currently being restored at a cost of $30,000.
